ISO 14001 - Environmental Management

The threat to the environment is an ongoing concern of the environmental fans these days, and expediting overuse and destruction of natural resources are continuing. As a part of the environmental protection community, we need to step forward and start remedial action from our organisation. ISO 14001 can help us better understand ecological protection laws and regulations and reduce our activities’ adverse environmental impacts.

What is an Environmental Management System

In order to achieve the goals of the organisation based on having a non-harmful environmental activity, in the year 1996, ISO introduced a new series of the standard named ISO 14001. This standard was revised and updated in the years 2004 and 2015. The latest version of this standard follows the same structure that other ISO standards designed based on that. This gives a benefit to the user to integrate their management system easily.
